This research is motivated by the problems faced by students because students do not understand the concept of pronunciation. They only read the text based on what is written in the text or they read it unclearly. Students' knowledge of correct and proper pronunciation is still very minimal. In addition, they do not receive pronunciation lessons, so students have not studied pronunciation in detail. The purpose of this study was to describe the pronunciation mastery of students of the English Education Study Program. This study uses a qualitative research design. The sample of this research is the students of the English Language Study Program at University Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai. In the study, the researcher used a questionnaire and student pronunciation performance as an instrument in collecting data. Meanwhile, in data analysis, researchers used techniques from Miles & Huberman, namely data collection, data display, data reduction, conclusion: drawing/verifying. Based on the results of research based on questionnaires and student pronunciation performance through videos, the results obtained are the first questionnaire, the results of the questionnaire show “Good” results. This shows that from the 12 questionnaires they were able to answer according to their knowledge of pronunciation, but in some aspects of pronunciation they still showed confusion, especially the sound aspect. Then the result of the student's pronunciation performance is that students get a “Good” category with a score of 57. It can be concluded that the analysis of students' pronunciation mastery is “Good”.
